H&M is opening its new location at the Dartmouth Mall.

According to the clothing retailer’s Facebook page, the grand opening is set for July 27 at 12 p.m. The grand opening will include giveaways for the first 300 shoppers in line, according to the page.

The company will also collect old garments to recycle before the grand opening, regardless of brand or condition. Recycled garments are either sold second hand, reused in other products, or recycled into textile fibers for use in products such as insulation, according to the company's website.

According to an H&M spokesperson, the new store will carry the company’s ladies, mens, teens, and kids collections, and accessories. The store will hire approximately 40-50 new staff members, from sales advisors to a store manager. The spokesperson said the company is in an expansion phase across the United States, and felt that Dartmouth was best suited to match the company’s goal of providing fashionable, quality, and sustainable clothing.
