Dinur to Open NBSO Season with Bernstein

MA—On Saturday, September 23, the New Bedford Symphony Orchestra will kick off its 2017-2018 season when Maestro Yaniv Dinur brings his youthful enthusiasm to the Zeiterion stage for the first time as its new music director.



The season opening concert, “Bernstein’s Inspiration,” will feature brilliant Grammy-winning violinist Daniel Chong, leader of the Parker String Quartet, in Leonard Bernstein’s Serenade. Also on the evening’s program is Derek Bermel’s enchanting “Dust Dances” and Mahler’s glorious Symphony No. 1.
The concert will take place on Saturday, September 23, 7:30pm, at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center in downtown New Bedford. Concert sponsor is Robert B. Feingold & Associates, P.C.
