The Lloyd Center for the Environment will host a Halloween-themed nature walk on October 27 at its 430 Potomska Road location, 6-7 p.m.

The Creepy Critters Night Hike will include education on creatures like owls, spiders, bats, and snakes. Participants will then explore the center’s trails in search of nocturnal animals. The event will conclude with a stroll through the center’s jack-o-lantern display.

The hike is kid-friendly, and those attending are asked to dress for the weather and wear closed-toed shoes.

The cost is $8 for members and $10 for non-members. For a family of four, the cost is $24 for members and $30 for non-members. All ages are welcome.
