Cross country takes league title

The Dartmouth High boys cross country team ran to a perfect league record and took home the Old Colony League title on October 26.

Facing off in a meet against rivals Bridgewater-Raynham and Barnstable, the Indians took first place with 16 points overall. Bridgewater-Raynham finished second with 48 points, and Barnstable finished third with 60 points.

The Indians took the first four slots in the competition. Mac Lynch placed in first at 17 minutes; Benjamin Rioux finished second with 17:25.10; Kamden Ouellet came in third with 17:48.00; and rounded out the top four Dawson Polochick at 17:48.50.

Noah Derrick rounded out the top for Dartmouth in sixth place at 17:54.70.

In the girls competition, the Indians came in second place with 38 points. Barnstable took the top spot in the girls competition with 27 points and Bridgewater-Raynham finished with 57 points.

Finishing in the top 10 was Emma Sousa at 21:32.10, Cassidy Leary at 22:10.00, Mia Clark at 22:15.00, and Phoebe Cousens at 22:33.20.
