Southcoast VNA offers workshop for those grieving during the holidays

Nov 1, 2017

FAIRHAVEN, Mass. — Southcoast Health announced today that the Southcoast Visiting Nurse Association (VNA) is offering a workshop for those who will be grieving the loss of a loved one during the upcoming holiday season.

“The first holiday season following the death of a loved one can be extremely difficult. Balancing this already demanding time with the sadness we feel because of not being able to share this holiday time with our loved one can feel overwhelming,” said Nancy Arnold, Manager of Bereavement & Volunteer Services for Southcoast VNA.

The one-hour workshop offered by the Southcoast VNA is available to the public and free of charge. It will include tips and ideas of ways to not only “make it through this holiday time” but also to honor the memory of one loved, as well as meeting our own needs.
