Nomination papers available for town election

Nomination papers for the annual town election are now available.

According to the Dartmouth Town Clerk’s Office, papers can be picked up at the office during normal business hours at the office.

The annual town election is on Tuesday, April 3. The last day to obtain nomination papers is February 9. On that day, papers will be available until 5 p.m.

Nomination papers must be submitted to the Town Clerk's Office for certification by February 13, with a deadline of 5 p.m.

The final day to file papers with the Town Clerk is February 27, 5 p.m. The last day to withdraw or object from the election is March 1, with a 5 p.m. deadline.

Warrants for the election must be posted by March 27.

Residents running for a town office must collect 50 signatures with their nomination papers. Those running for a spot as a Town Meeting Member need to collect 20 signatures.
