The Encompass Community Hosts An Expedition of Projects For Homeschoolers...

Jan 11, 2018

The Encompass Community welcomed a full house of families for our 2nd EXPEDITION OF PROJECTS at Friends Academy this week! Our Music and STEAM Mini-Maker Space each run in 6 week sessions. On the last day of each session, we gather to share our creations and reflect on our process with the support of loved ones...

The kids challenged the parents to build a bridge in their Maker-Space. Then all shared their original compositions in Music! We are so proud of each and every one of you...

New sessions begin next week on 1/17
Wednesdays 3:30-5:30, $10 per class!

In addition to these Short Courses, we also offer drop-off Nature programming for 6-14 year olds on Monday and/or Wednesdays, 9:15am-12:30pm. This group explores 65 acres of wilderness in all weather. We also host a free playgroup for 3-6 year olds and Family Music and Nature classes on Thursday mornings ($15 per family). Our free, monthly events are informative and engaging!

The Encompass Community offers enrichment and resources to homeschool families and life-long learners of all ages. This program is a grant-funded initiative of Friends Academy and a partnership with the Center for Education Innovation.
