Discussion on Paul Cuffe, February 8

The New Bedford Whaling Museum will host a discussion on Paul Cuffe on February 8, 6 p.m.

The discussion, held as part of the museum's Local History Guild conversation series, will feature Bob Harding, President of the Dartmouth Historical and Arts Society, and Richard Gifford, an independent scholar from Westport.

It is titled "The Westport and Dartmouth Milieu in the Age of Paul Cuffe."

 

Michael P. Dyer, Curator of Maritime History at the Whaling Museum, will moderate the Local History Guild discussions, and a question and answer period will be held. Events are free and open to the public, and advance registration is not required.
