The Paskamansett Bird Club will be holding its monthly meeting on April 11, 7:30 p.m. at the Community Hall of Friends Meeting House.

At the monthly meeting, Evan Dalton will talk about the outcome of the bird-banding effort at Manomet Bird Observatory in Plymouth.

At the observatory, scientists record data about birds which they use to construct a better picture about bird in the area. Dalton will share information about the data gained from the research and what it means for long-term population trends.

Dalton has worked in his present position at Manomet since October 2014, but his tenure included stints working as ann intern, a lead bander, and an educator for visiting groups for many years, among others.
