Summer concert series lineup released

As summer approaches, Dartmouth Parks and Recreation has released its schedule for its annual summer concert series.

Concerts are held on Wednesday evenings from June 13-August 29. There is no concert on July 4. The gate opens at 5:30 p.m. for entry. Concerts begin at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m.

The concert series begins on June 13 with a performance by Over the Edge. Five-piece cover band Whiskey Affair will be the next group to perform on June 20. Motown band Nickel Jukebox is the last June concert on June 27.

July 11 will feature 80s and 90s cover band RT18. Classic rock cover band Old School will perform on July 18. Rock band Loose Screws will close out July’s schedule on July 25.

Red Handed opens August’s schedule on August 1 with hits from all generations. Rock/dance/party band Headcase will perform on August 8. Classic and contemporary rock cover band No Way Out switches things up on August 15. Classic rock and blues cover band The CRS Band performs on August 22.

The final concert of the season will be August 29’s performance by Fat Angus, an AC/DC tribute band.

Tickets are $5 per person at the gate, and $4 per person in advance. Children under 12 are free. Season passes can be purchased for $30 per person. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Parks and Recreation office.

If a concert is cancelled due to the weather, it is held on the next day, a Thursday.
