Free Yoga Nidra Meditation and Intention Workshop for Parents and Caregivers on 4/25...

Apr 23, 2018

Yoga Nidra is touted as the “Yoga of Sleep.” The event will be a relaxing and rejuvenating evening; a “spring cleaning” for the heart and mind. We use a simple process to distill our heart’s deepest desires into an intention - your individual “mission statement” that serves to guide you in your life and interactions with loved ones and others. Yoga Nidra is a powerful practice that allows us to effortlessly enter deep levels of meditation and plant the seed of our intention. No experience with yoga or meditation is necessary.

This event is hosted by the Encompass Community for Independent Learning at Friends Academy. It will be held on Wednesday, April 25th from 6pm-7:30. The location is 1088 Tucker Rd., Dartmouth. Please park in the side lot and enter via the side entrance.

This event will be facilitated by Carly Baumann, a 200 hour registered Amrit Method Yoga instructor and Certified Yoga Nidra Facilitator. Carly is an Encompass Team Member who facilitates the Encompass Community's Family Nature Classes. She is also a Tinkergarten leader and fellow Mom.

This event is for parents and caregivers (childcare is NOT available during the event).

Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and wear comfortable clothing. This event is FREE, but you must RSVP
