Annette Y. (Knowles) Raymond, 81, of South Dartmouth, died Saturday, April 18, 2020 at Hathaway Manor following a period of declining health. She was the widow of Paul Gerald "Jerry" Raymond and the former wife of the late Donald Provost.

 

Born in New Bedford, Mrs. Raymond resided in South Dartmouth for many years. She graduated form New Bedford High School and Northeastern University with a degree in Radiology and was employed at St. Luke's Hospital and the former Parkwood Hospital. Later she was employed as a claims specialist for Blue Cross Blue Shield.

 

Her family includes her four children, Dawn Provost of Westport, Debra L. Savoie and her husband, John of Dartmouth, Peter Provost and Roy Provost, both of Nevada; many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

 

She was the sister of the late Michael Knowles.

 

Due to the current mandate regarding public gatherings, her funeral and committal in Massachusetts National Cemetery are private. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Aubertine-Lopes Funeral Home, 129 Allen St., New Bedford.
