Absentee ballots available for town election

With April 3 town elections right around corner voters are now able to request absentee ballots.
In order to receive an absentee ballot the voter must request one from the town. They must send a written document stating why they need the absentee ballot. The three reason are absence from the voter’s town during the normal voting hours of 7 a.m. to 8 p.m., physical disability or religious belief.
The town must receive a request for an absentee ballot no later than 12 p.m. the day before the election.
