Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary to hold Stony Brook's 38th annual fall fair

Join Allens Pond Wildlife Sanctuary on September 24, 10 a.m.-4 p.m., for games, crafts, food, and fun for the whole family at Stony Brook's 38th Annual Fall Fair. Proceeds from ticket sales will go toward supporting Stony Brook’s school, community, and camp programs, and conservation efforts.

Admission: $4 Adults, $3 Children (max/family $14)

Activities & Crafts: Pumpkin painting; cupcake decorating; face painting; games (Rock Monster & Antler Toss); Moon Bounce

Animal Demonstrations & Exhibits: Owls (Eyes on Owls with Marcia Wilson); Honeybees (Norfolk County Beekeepers Association); Rabbits (Norfolk County 4-H Cottontails)

Duck Derby: Cheer on your favorite as adopted rubber ducks race across the pond towards the finish line!

Local Artists & Crafters: Handmade items for sale (just in time for holiday shopping!); Wool spinning demonstrations by the Sunday Spinners

Tasty Fare: The Norfolk Lions Club will cook their famous backyard cookout fare, including local roasted corn on the cob!
