The Dartmouth Historical Commission is seeking three new members.

The Commission is charged by the commonwealth with preserving, protecting, and developing historic or archaeological assets of the town. From time to time, Commission members are also expected to take on various projects to fulfill responsibilities such as research and education assignments.

The Commission is composed of nine members and meets on the first Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

Those who are interested are urged to look at the Historical Commission page on the town’s website, town.dartmouth.ma.us, to see what takes place at a typical meeting.
