Police responded to an armed robbery at the Shell gas station on State Road on November 25.

At approximately 6 p.m., a man was assaulted, beat with a firearm, and robbed of his money while inside the store at the intersection of State and Reed roads, according to police. The man was transported by St. Luke's Hospital.

Police said the suspect is a heavy set, 5' 9" tall, black male wearing jeans, a dark hoodie, and sneakers.

Police searched the area with K-9s, but found nothing. The incident is still under investigation, and police are currently not releasing any more information.
