Artisan show April 29 features variety of creations
A local artisan show will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 29 at Dove’s Foot Pottery, 219 Horseneck Road, South Dartmouth.
The artists include Ruth Bourns, handmade quilts and textile accessories for women; Bev Cass, papier mache birds, toads and mushrooms and walking sticks; John and Jennie Elias, colorful hand blown glass ornaments, vases and tumblers; James Kennedy, small batch artisan jams and jellies and assorted pastries; Polly Blue Moss, art and Illustrations inspired by the magic of nature.
Other artisans include Tom Peirce, handmade silver and silver/copper jewelry; Galen Snow, paper montage of moments in nature; Stephanie Stroud, impressionistic landscapes in felted wool and mixed media; Diana Taft, original and custom jewelry designs; Megan Thomas, handwoven items with natural fibers; Amy Thurber, pottery from the garden for the table; and Carol Way Wood, whimsical watercolors of animals and flowers.
