The Dartmouth YMCA will hold a babysitting course for people between the ages of 12 and 16. Learn basic child safety, the importance of play, diaper changing, and following bedtime routines. An overview of First Aid and CPR is included. The course will lead to basic babysitting certification, and meets Thursdays from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. from Jan. 3 to Feb. 14. The course costs $50 for members and $75 for non-members.
