Nathan Melo is the new head coach for Bishop Stang’s boys varsity lacrosse team. He brings 15 years experience as the assistant coach for both boys and girls lacrosse teams at New Bedford High School. Melo played goalie for his high school lacrosse team. 

“We are thrilled to welcome Nathan into the Bishop Stang family,” said Athletic Director Nate Greene. “With local roots and a fierce passion for the game, Nathan really communicated a hunger and desire to share his experience with our student athletes.”

The boys lacrosse team will begin its season with a home game at 3:30 p.m. on April 1.
