Car crash sends one driver to the hospital

No one was seriously injured in a two car crash on Dartmouth Street at Edgeworth Street at around 3:30 pm on July 13.
The collision occurred between two cars, one of which was traveling north on Dartmouth Street and one which was exiting Edgeworth Street. Although the impact was at low speeds, one of the cars rolled over, trapping the female driver inside.
Dartmouth Fire District No. 1 used the Jaws of Life tool to free her from the vehicle, and she was transported to the hospital as a precautionary measure.
The Dartmouth Police Department’s Traffic Supervisor was on the scene and coordinated a detour.
The scene was clear by around 4:15 p.m. The crash is under investigation.
