St. Peter’s Episcopal Church is hosting its annual Thanksgiving food drive through Nov. 14 to help families in need from each of the Dartmouth elementary schools enjoy a Thanksgiving meal.

The families are identified each year by the school social workers. Last year, the effort helped 45 families through the collaboration between the church and Dartmouth schools.

Anyone wishing to donate the cost of a meal, which is $50, may write out a check to St. Peter’s Episcopal Church and write “Thanksgiving food drive’’ on the notation line. Donations of any amount are welcome.

Checks can be dropped off at the church parish office, 351 Elm St., before or after 10 a.m. Mass Sunday, Nov. 14. Checks may also be mailed by Sunday, Nov. 14 to:  St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, Thanksgiving Food Drive, 351 Elm St., Dartmouth MA 02748.
