On Saturday, September 8 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., “Come back in time” at the Historical and Arts Society at 1205 Russells Mills Rd. There will be demonstrations of fire pit cooking with authentic 18th century tools, 18th through 20th century surveyor’s tools with Palmer Headley, the Spinners with Soule, and coinage and currency from 1871 to 1914 displayed by the Coin Club of Greater New Bedford. Visitors will also be able to learn how to do laundry using a wash tub, scrub board, and wringer.
