In an effort to better help homeless and at-risk residents get back on their feet, the Town of Dartmouth will host a community resource fair Monday, Dec. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the North Branch Library.

The aim of the fair, organized by the newly assembled “Dartmouth Community Service Outreach Team,” is to network residents with various agencies. 

The fair will include representatives from 20 agencies includingThe Women’s Center, South Coast Counties Legal Services, People Acting in Community Endeavours, and the Veterans Transition House.

“[They] just want to meet the people of Dartmouth and get the ball rolling,” said task force member Matthew Dansereau. “There’s a real need in the town for access to services that historically have never been in the town.” 

There will also be a lunch provided through a donation from the Friends of the Elderly.

The library is located at 211 Cross Road.
