A convertible crashed on Faunce Corner Road Saturday morning, causing the car’s bumper and wheel to detach.

State and Dartmouth Police responded to the crash just south of I-195, near 99 Restaurants. Police did not immediately respond to a request for information on the cause of the accident or whether anyone was injured.

The car was loaded onto a tow truck before police left the area.
