Cornelia Alves, 93, of So. Dartmouth passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at St. Luke’s Hospital. She was the beloved wife for 59 wonderful years to the late John Alves.

Born in New Bedford, she was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Grace) Pacheco. Cornelia had been the Proprietor of Sunset Cleaners for many years.

Cornelia is survived by her son, Michael Alves and his wife Ann; her daughter, Wendy Melo and her husband Ricardo and her grandchildren, Madison Alves and Brendin Melo.

Her funeral was held July 20.
