Daniel K. Abreu, age 65, of Swansea passed away Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Rhode Island Hospital after a period of declining health.  

He was the husband of Mary (McCann) Abreu to whom he has been married for the past 13 years.

Born in New Bedford, a son of Mary Marta (Ganansa) Abreu of Dartmouth and the late Manuel Abreu, he was recently employed at PSI Inc in Fall River.

A graduate of Dartmouth High School, he was a Veteran of the United States Air Force from 1972 to 1979 then the Army Reserve retiring with the rank of Captain.   He was a member of the Club Madeirense SS Sacramento. 

In addition to his wife and mother, he is survived by two sisters, Joan Britto of Dartmouth; Ann Sylvia and her husband Douglas of Freetown, one brother, Brian Abreu and his wife Michelle of Dartmouth; five children, several grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
