A Dartmouth resident’s law firm changed its name and added a new partner in April, welcoming Mansfield resident Lisa M. Kresge to the firm.

The firm, originally “Brennan, Recupero, Cascione, Scungio and McAllister LLP,” changed its name to “Brennan Scungio & Kresge LLP.”

Edmund Brennan, a resident of South Dartmouth and founding partner of the firm, opened the firm under its original name in September 1991. The firm currently has offices in Providence, Rhode Island and Taunton.

Kresge joined the firm in 2011 and “oversees the firm’s commercial finance and creditors’ rights practice.” She represents businesses and financial institutions in commercial litigation and transactional work.

Kresge is currently the vice president and board member of the Women’s Bar Association. She also serves as board co-chair for the New England Network of the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation.
