The Dartmouth Grange is now taking applications for the 2022 John H. Brown Jr. Scholarships, to be awarded to graduating seniors at Dartmouth High School and Westport High School.

The scholarship committee’s criteria will include academic merit and community service.

Students interested in environmental science or agricultural studies are preferred, but that is not essential to apply for a scholarship.

Applications are due on April 15 and are available online from each school, and from the Dartmouth Grange website at www.dartmouthgrange.org.

Last year the Dartmouth Grange gave over $38,000 in scholarships to 14 students.

Awards went to the following students from Dartmouth High School: Jenna Cadieux; attending the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Ellie Cook; attending the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Olivia Denis; attending Stonehill College, Julia Goncalves; attending the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Sarah Hartman; attending Williams College, Mya Leonardo, attending Northeastern University and Kimberly Nguyen; attending Northeastern University.
