Dartmouth man arrested on murder charges following New Bedford fatal stabbing
Dartmouth’s Tyler Dow Baglini, 31, will be charged with murder in connection to the Friday, Sept. 20 stabbing homicide on Atlantic Street in New Bedford, Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III announced on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The victim, Kerri Fidalgo, 31, was living in an apartment at the 86 Atlantic Street address, according to Quinn. Just before 5 p.m. on Friday, New Bedford Police responded to reports of a stabbing, finding Fidalgo, they rushed her to Saint Luke’s Hospital, where she was later pronounced deceased.
Baglini was placed into custody shortly after the incident and was held overnight at Saint Luke’s for psychiatric evaluation, Quinn said.
He will be arraigned Monday morning in New Bedford District Court on a charge of murder.
