A North Dartmouth man died after crashing his truck into a tree yesterday evening in Fairhaven, according to the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office.

Shane Pacheco, 31, of North Dartmouth was the driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 2008 Ford F-150.

The truck had struck a tree off 475 Bridge Street just before 5:15 p.m. on November 13.

It was engulfed in flames when first responders arrived.

Pacheco was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other people were involved in the accident.

Fairhaven Police, Massachusetts State Police detectives, and members of the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section are investigating the crash.
