Dartmouth Middle School swaps single-use lunch trays for stainless steel

New trays are saving the day: Dartmouth Middle School switched from single-use lunch trays to reusable stainless steel trays in an effort to reduce the amount of waste thrown in the Crapo Hill landfill.
Potter Elementary School and Dartmouth Middle School are the first schools in the area to implement this new program.
School Nutrition Director Jeanne Sheridan and the nutrition staff are planning on implementing the new reusable trays in DeMello Elementary School and Quinn Elementary School this year.
