Dartmouth Police holding "Healthy Dartmouth" contest for students

In an effort to promote a Healthy Dartmouth, Acting Police Chief Robert Szala and the members of the Dartmouth Police Department are holding a contest to see who can design the best poster demonstrating what a "Healthy Dartmouth" means to them.

The rules are as follows:

  • As the initiative is Dartmouth based, meaning submissions are limited to students currently enrolled in grades 6 through 8 in the Dartmouth Public School System.
  • All posters must be submitted on a standard 8.5" x 11" sheet of paper (colored paper or white paper are acceptable).
  • The poster must demonstrate what "Healthy Dartmouth" means to the participant.
  • All entries must be dropped off at Dartmouth police station by Saturday, March 19. When dropping the poster off, please indicate what grade the participant is in, and provide a telephone number that their parent(s) and/or guardian(s) can be reached at. Submissions can be signed "Attention: Detective Kyle Costa."
  • In addition to displaying the winning poster as the cover photo for our Facebook page, the winner will also receive a prize donated by a Dartmouth resident who wishes to remain anonymous.
