Dartmouth resident to compete for Miss Massachusetts
The 77th annual Miss Massachusetts Scholarship Pageant is Friday, July 1, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at the Hanover Theatre for the Performing Arts in Worcester.
The two-day pageant features Miss Massachusetts 2015 Meagan Fuller of Attleboro, and 24 beautiful, intelligent, and talented young women. They will compete for scholarship money and the opportunity to represent Massachusetts at the 96th Annual Miss America Pageant in September 2016.
This year at the state pageant, supporters may help select the eleventh finalist for Saturday’s show via online voting. Fans may visit the Miss Massachusetts website and cast a vote for their favorite contestant for $1. Each dollar that is donated counts as one vote. Online voting will end at voting link.
Dartmouth resident Kristen Victoria Rose will be competing as Miss New Bedford. Rose also studied crime and justice at the University of Massachusetts—Dartmouth. Her talent is musical theatre vocal.
