Dartmouth students compete at national business conference
Five Dartmouth students from Greater New Bedford Regional Vocational Technical High School attended the Business Professionals of America National Leadership Conference in Chicago this May.
At the conference, which was attended by 6,500 delegates from across the country, they competed for top honors in business and information technology skills competitions and attended leadership and professional development workshops.
Business Professionals of America is a career and technical student organization. The organization has more than 1,800 chapters across 25 states and Puerto Rico.
Josh Abreu competed in the categories of administrative support concepts, human resource management, intermediate word processing, and Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2019 Associate.
Alianah Caceres Santos competed in the categories of administrative support team, digital communication and design concepts, meeting and event planning concepts management, marketing and human resources, and health administration concepts.
Morgan Goncalo competed in the categories of broadcast news production team, and digital communication and design concepts.
Kyleigh Roderiques competed in the categories of fundamental accounting, interview skills, management, and marketing and human resources concepts.
Amarie Rodrigues competed in the categories of fundamental desktop publishing, YouScience desktop publishing I, advanced desktop publishing, YouScience Desktop Publishing II, and digital communication and design concepts.
