The more things change, the more they stay the same.
This photo gallery shows a handful of Dartmouth Landmarks as they were once, and as they are now. Though they are still recognizable for the most part, the differences show how the town has evolved over the years.
In one photo depicting what is now the Dartmouth Cultural Center, tram tracks can be seen leading up Elm Street and onto Prospect Street.
In another, the recent additions to the Dartmouth Natural Resources Trust’s headquarters standout against the humble farmstead that previously occupied Helfand Farm.
