Dartmouth volleyball, boys soccer end postseason runs

Nov 7, 2019

The postseason dreams of several Dartmouth High teams came to an end on Wednesday night, as both volleyball and the boys soccer teams were knocked out of playoff contention.

The volleyball team had sailed through the regular season with an undefeated record, and defeated Hingham High School to make it to the semi-finals.

However, the top-seeded Indians lost to fourth-seeded Oliver Ames 3-2 in the semi-final round.

The seventh-seeded boys’ soccer team lost 2-0 to second-seeded Milford in the quarter finals. The team had defeated Medfield 3-2 in overtime in the first round of tournament play.

The Dartmouth High girls soccer team is still in playoff contention, and play today at 2:30 p.m. against Foxborough High School.
