Visit a farm

Round the Bend Farm, located at 92 Allen Neck Road, will host an Open Farm Day from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Open Farm Day is the perfect opportunity to see how a farm works, meet with local farmers, purchase products directly from the farm, take a tour of the farm and more. Items for sale include non-GMO and grass-fed meat, seasonal veggies, honey, maple syrup and other products.

Sunday, July 17

Learn how to paddle board

Join the Lloyd Center for an introduction to stand-up paddle boarding. Program begins at 9:30 a.m.

The introduction will cover everything there is to know about paddle boarding, be led by a certified instructor, and will take place in the Slocum River.

Pre-registration is required by noon on Friday, July 15. Cost is $50 for Lloyd Center members and $60 for non-members, and is open to ages 14 and older. Wear clothing and footwear that you don’t mind getting wet and bring water.

Help Dartmouth's Sister Cities

The Sister City Delegation Committee will host a fundraiser from 1-4 p.m. at the Stackhouse Club, located at 16 Faith Street.

The event will raise funds to help support hosting Dartmouth’s sister cities, Povoação, Lagoa and Nordeste on São Miguel in the Azores, and Dartmouth Devon UK.

Tickets are $20 per adult and $7 per child, and are available at the Clerk's Office at Town Hall. You can also buy tickets from committee members Bel Barreiros, Peggy Cabral, Jane Carreiro, Mary Creed, Natalie Dias, Dyan Kieltyka, Sheila Koot, Mia Lahti, and Al Porter, or at the door the night of the event.
