David Alfonso, 69, died October 29, 2022 at Hathaway Manor. Husband of Sharlene A. (Houghton) Alfonso and son of the late Eugene and Virginia (Wheatly) Alfonso.

Born in New Bedford, Mr. Alfonso resided in Dartmouth for most of his life. He was employed as a cable splicer for Eversource until his retirement.

Survivors include his wife, Sharlene; son, David M. Alfonso and wife, Holly;  daughter, Jody Martel and husband, Randy; two step-sons, Gerald Robinson and Joseph LaPlante and wife, Marjorie; 2 late step-daughters, Kristine De Antonio and Irene LaPlante; brother, Bernard Alfonso and wife, Gail; sister, Joan Walker and husband, John; 13 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation November 12, 2022 from 12:00 to 2:00.
