The Lloyd Center for the Environment will be hosting Nature Discoveries for children on Saturday, March 21 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
During the program, children will investigate nature through the seasons by reading thematic books and exploring the Lloyd Center with one of the Center’s educators/naturalists.
Live animal demonstrations, specimens to observe and touch, hikes, activities and crafts bring nature themes to life for Nature Discovery participants.
This hour-long adventure is appropriate for children ages 2-6. Younger or older siblings are welcome as well.
Participants should meet at the Lloyd Center’s Bond House Classroom, located at 430 Potomska Road in South Dartmouth.
The cost is $5 for Lloyd Center members and $7 for non-members. Space is limited to 20. Pre-registration is required by Thursday, March 19 at 3 p.m.
