On Saturday, Dec. 7 the Dartmouth Police Department is hosting its annual Fill the Bus toy drive.
Buses from Tremblay’s will be collecting the toys, which will primarily be given to kids in Dartmouth.
The police department is also working with the Council on Aging, which will be selecting toys to help grandparents who find financially providing for their grandchildren difficult.
Community members can participate by donating new, unwrapped toys and gifts in their original packaging.
“The annual Fill-the-Bus Toy Drive is a true testament to the generosity and community spirit that unites our department with the many individuals and organizations who support this meaningful cause,” said Dartmouth Chief of Police Brian Levesque. “Partnering with our community and local organizations to bring joy to children and families in need during the holiday season is a privilege.”
The event is being held at Target at 479 State Road from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
