Doris O. Neville, 91, of Dartmouth, died Tuesday, July 30 at New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home.

Born in Dartmouth, she was the daughter of the late Robert J. and Ida F. (Trudelle) Neville.

Doris graduated from Simmons College, Fordham University and attended the University of Madrid. She resided in New York for 30 years where she was employed as a librarian until her retirement.
Doris was a parishioner of St. Julie Billiart Church.

In her leisure time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles and knitting, especially bonnets for babies at St. Luke's Hospital.

Her family includes her sister, Lydia N. Ramalho of Dartmouth; her nephew, Robert; her nieces, Christine, Terry Anne, Kathy and Donna and her daughter, Kelly; great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the sister of the late James N. Neville.

Her Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Julie Billiart Church on Saturday, August 3. Interment in St. John Cemetery.
