The Dartmouth Youth Activities Association’s John B. Steele Baseball All Star Tournament will be taking place this year on the weekends of August 2-4 and August 9-11.
The Steele Tournament is the longest continuous youth all star event in Southern New England. The weekend-long events draw in some of the region’s most competitive baseball programs each year.
There are four age divisions for both boys and girls in the tournament: Junior (ages 10 and under), Little (ages 12 and under), Pony (ages 14 and under), and Senior (ages 16 and under).
The Junior and Pony divisions (10U and 14U) will play August 2-4, while the Little and Senior divisions (12U and 16U) will play August 9-11.
Games will take place on Crapo Field at 255 Russells Mills Rd. in Dartmouth.
For the $450 entry fee, participants are guaranteed to play in three games.
The Tournament provides game and individual awards as well as adult umpires and announcers for all games.
