DARTMOUTH-Edward W. Schofield, 92, of Dartmouth, died October 9, 2024. Husband of Pauline C. (Brillon) Schofield.

Born in New Bedford, Mr. Schofield resided in Dartmouth since 1962. U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

He was employed as a security guard at U.S. Security, later Allied Security.

Survived by his wife; son, Charles Schofield and wife, Alyssa; daughter, Nia Hughes; grandchildren, Ashley Vasquez, Cheyenne Meunier, Bradon Meunier, Morgan Reynolds and a grandson expected in February; great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Taylor Vasquez; nieces and nephews.

Brother of the late Paul Schofield and Frances Sweeney.

Visiting hours Thursday, November 7 from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. with memorial service at 6:00 P.M. The Schofield family invites all attending Edward's inurnment with Military Honors to go directly to Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne, MA , Friday November 8 for 11:30 A. M.
