Fall events with the Lloyd Center

Oct 2, 2019

The Lloyd Center for the Environment will be hosting two fall-themed events this October.

On October 19 from 10:30 a.m. to noon, join the Center’s Education/Outreach Specialist Ashley Gesner for a Fall Tree Walk to explore the Lloyd Center’s trails and forest, and engage in ‘get to know a tree’ activities.

Children must be aged five or older. For members, the cost is $5 per person or $15 for a family of four, and for non-members it’s $7 for individuals and $21 for a family of four.

Pre-register by Thursday, October 17 at lloydcenter.org/calendar. For more information, contact Ashley at (508) 990-0505 x 14 or ashley@lloydcenter.org.

Just in time for Halloween, the Center will also be hosting a Creepy Critters Night Hike on October 25 from 6:30 - 8 p.m.

This hike is kid friendly. Costumes are encouraged!

Participants can learn about some creepy favorites like owls, spiders, bats and snakes during the hike. The evening will conclude with a nocturnal creature craft and light refreshments.

The price of this event for Lloyd Center members is $8 for individuals, and $24 for a family of four. The price for non-members is $10 for individuals, and $30 for a family of four. All ages are welcome.

Pre-register for this hike by Wednesday, October 23 online at lloydcenter.org/calendar. For more information, contact Amanda Nowicki at (508) 990-0505 x 19 or amanda@lloydcenter.org.
