Stop & Shop has flu shots available at its more than 200 pharmacy locations across the Northeast, including its location at 25 Faunce Corner Road.

The Centers for Disease Control is urging everyone six months and older to receive a flu vaccination by the end of October.

Customers needing a COVID-19 vaccine or Pfizer COVID-19 booster can receive those vaccines at the same time as their flu shots. The CDC has indicated these vaccines can be administered together with no need for a waiting period.

Stop & Shop has secured additional stock of the flu vaccine, anticipating higher demand as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the company reports.

To receive a flu, COVID-19, or other vaccines, customers will be required to wear face covering, and pharmacists will be equipped with face coverings and gloves. The immunization area will have strict disinfecting and sanitizing measures in place between each patient.
