Four arrested for alleged hotel armed robbery
Four people are facing charges for an alleged armed robbery at the Dartmouth Residence Inn on March 20.
According to Dartmouth police, a woman reported that two men and two women had entered her hotel room. The two women allegedly was physically assaulted her, while the two men allegedly ransacked the room.
She reported that $7,800 in cash and a Rolex watch valued at $14,500 was stolen from her room. She was not seriously injured.
The victim knew one of the suspects, and was able to provide an identity to police.
At 1:43 a.m. on March 21, Westport police stopped a Hyundai Elantra one of the suspects was allegedly operating. Police arrested Jadelynn Gibbons, 24, Shantel Medeiros, 22, Hakeem Lopes, 25, and Manny Andrews, 25, all of New Bedford.
All four people face charges of armed robbery, assault and battery, larceny over $1,200, and conspiracy to commit a crime.
