Friends of library to offer new service connecting readers with authors

Jul 5, 2022

The Friends of the Dartmouth Libraries announced that the libraries will be offering a new online service, AuthorsLive, that will allow readers to interact with bestselling authors through moderated online interviews.

Several live events will take place each month, allowing readers to submit questions for the writers to answer. When the interviews are over, they will be archived for later viewing.

Already, there are three authors scheduled for interviews on the platform over the next month, including:

Alka Joshi, author of the New York Times Bestseller, The Henna Artist, on July 7 at 9 p.m.

David Allen, author of the New York Times Bestseller, Getting Things Done, on July 14 at noon.

Marcia Chatelain, author of the 2021 Pulitzer Prize Winning book, Franchise, on Aug. 3 at 2 p.m.
