Dartmouth non-profit and volunteer-run organization Friends of SMEC (Southeastern Massachusetts Educational Collaborative) will be hosting its 25th annual Benefit Dance fundraiser from 6:30 - 10:30 p.m. on Friday, March 20 at the Seaport Inn in Fairhaven.

There will be dancing along with a silent auction, regular auction, and spin the wheel. 

Tickets cost $20. All proceeds go to Friends of SMEC, whose mission is to provide financial support to supplement services provided to children and adults with disabilities.

Funds raised on the evening will go to assist SMEC’s students and young adults in significant ways, such as offering interest free loans to students or others moving into independent living situations, providing tickets and transportation expenses for work and community activities, funding field trips and classroom equipment and more.
