Get your pet blessed at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church’s annual Blessing of the Animals and Pets service. 

The blessing will be held on October 8 from 5:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. on the front lawn of the 351 Elm St. church. 

Pets of all shapes and sizes — from dogs and cats to birds and snakes — are welcome to attend. Children can also have their stuffed animals blessed. All are welcome to attend regardless of current faith tradition. 

The annual blessing of the animals is held to commemorate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi.
