The Gnomes to play at the Dartmouth Grange
The Dartmouth Grange will welcome global, folk fusion band The Gnomes on Saturday, April 8 as part of the Paskamansett Concert Series.
The Gnomes fuse a dynamic folk-rock edge with original tunes. The band's repertoire includes Celtic, Scandinavian, Eastern European, Asian, African, Caribbean, Klezmer, and Native American beats.
The band's members include Rhode Island musicians Phil Edmonds (Irish whistle and button accordion), Cathy Clasper-Torch (fiddle, keyboard, er-hu, vocals), Mike Fischman (guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, banjo, vocals), Peter Breen (bass, vocals), and Matt Niebels (percussion/drums).
Buy tickets online at Brown Paper Tickets, or at the door. Tickets are $15 per person; $12 for kids (under 18), seniors (over 60), and college students. Toddlers are free, and family admission is $35.
Doors will open at 7 p.m. The concert starts at 7:30 p.m.
